Selco Builders Warehouse, has launched a competition for Grassroots rugby league clubs to celebrate the Rugby League World Cup taking place this autumn.
Amongst the prizes will be the chance for a team at the winning club to receive a training session from players from a competing nation and six tickets to a match at the tournament.
Representatives of grassroots clubs can submit entries at https://www.selcobw.com/info/selco-grassroots-rugby-league-competition by midnight on August 31.

“It’s been a long wait due to the coronavirus-enforced delays but the anticipation for all rugby league fans, and followers of sport in general, will really start to build over the coming weeks.
“The tournament will be a celebration of rugby league and will have a major positive impact right throughout the sport.

Other elements of the prize include £2,000 worth of building materials from Selco for the winning club to use on a project to improve its facilities, a signed shirt from a member of the England World Cup squad and new playing strips for one team.
