Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
The Pavestone Rally, the industry’s charity fundraising event that involves dressing up, challenges and cheap-ish cars, is closing for entry on January 31 2025.
The event involves an exhilarating 5 day journey through Northern Europe from Wednesday 3rd to Sunday 7th September 2025, exploring some of Northern Europe’s greatest roads from Dusseldorf in Germany to Amsterdam.
The teams will set on on Wednesday September 3 through France, Belgium and Holland, to arrive at the Rally starting point in Dusseldorf, Germany. On Thursday 4th the journey continues to Berlin, a trek of 346 miles. On the Friday morning, the Rally covers 285 miles to Malmö, the third largest city in Sweden, via Denmark, the Rostock Ferry and “The Bridge” – the spectacular 8 mile Öresund Bridge.
On the Saturday there will be 311 miles of fun packed challenges enroute to the city of Hamburg, while the final leg on Sunday takes teams to the Gala Dinner and Prize Presentations in Amsterdam.
The 2023 Pavestone Rally saw teams raise over £210,000 and the organisers say that they would love to better that in 2025. The chosen charities are: Teenage Cancer Trust, Variety, Crash, Lighthouse, and, this year, each team can choose their own Charity of Choice.
100% of the money raised is divided equally amongst the five chosen charity pots.
All costs, administration and organisational plus gift packs, Gala Dinner, medals, etc are paid for by Pavestone UK Limited. Other gift pack gifts are also sponsored and paid for by sponsoring industry partners.

Entry fees are £849pp based on a twin room, or £1149pp for Single. This covers 5 nights accommodation, return ferry crossings, European Car kit, European tolls, car Decals & presentation meal on the final night.
