Parker Building Supplies tees off £20,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust

Parker Building Supplies raised £20,000 for its longstanding charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust at the Sussex builders merchant’s 5th Annual Charity Golf Day  on 26th October at Dale Hill Golf Club and Hotel in Ticehurst.

With over 100 customers and 26 suppliers present, the charity event began with a ‘Chip the Skip’ challenge.

Thirty-five teams participated and played the two courses over the day.

Ex England Rugby Player Tim Stimpson hosted the evening activities, including a game of Heads or Tails and the charity auction – raising over £3700, to bring the total raised to just over £20,000.

Parker Building Supplies customers called it “a wonderful day for such a great charity” with others adding “we look forward to next year”.

‘We’d like to thank all our customers and suppliers for their support during the day and look forward to welcoming everyone again next year,” said Chris Maityard, Parker Building Supplies’  managing director said.
