The British supplier of waterproofing, wetroom and insulation solutions, Marmox (UK) Ltd., has appointed a new National Sales Manager to its team, who will be promoting the company’s products both at local level and across the country.
Jonathan Parsons will be looking after a sales force of six and, strictly, is not ‘new’ to Marmox. Indeed, he is returning to the business after a break of seven years, having worked previously for Marmox from 2002-2012.
Parsons’ career break from the industry came about when helping his wife, Gen, set up The Sudbury Dog Company Ltd., a doggie day care centre, which he describes as having fulfilled a long held ambition for both of them. With the task of getting the centre up and running smoothly, he was drawn back to Marmox due to his keen interest in sales as well as construction. As he puts it: “business for me is a passion, not a job.”
Covering the whole of the UK, Parsons and his team will be targeting architects, developers and specialist merchants who can all benefit from the wide range of Marmox products. He will also be responsible for the promotion of several new products due to be rolled out in 2020, as well as heading up exhibitions here in the UK.
Marmox is the premier supplier of waterproof, thermally insulating tile backer boards, shower bases and other tiling wet room related products. Additionally, the company’s Thermoblock – its unique structural insulating solution to combat thermal bridging – will also feature strongly in Parsons’ sales portfolio.
