Busby, who brings 43 years expertise to the role said: “It’s our ambition to make MKM Wallingford the best one stop merchant in Oxfordshire and the point of reference for service levels locally. We are committed to creating a fantastic work environment for our new team, to ensure we retain the very best skills and people.”

Baldwin added, “This is a really exciting opportunity. DIY and home improvement is hugely in vogue and the local construction industry in Oxfordshire remains as robust as ever – with a combination of new build estates, repairs, maintenance and extensions. In business, the opportunities are always there if you listen to the market and adapt accordingly.”

Feedback from local business has been that the building industry in the area is buoyant with much new investment. Our new team is very experienced, knows the local market inside out and has an in-depth understanding of what trade customers need – so we are really looking forward to the exciting opportunity this branch presents. I would like to thank the whole team in MKM Wallingford for their hard work and boundless enthusiasm in opening the branch. It is a fantastic achievement for the brand.”
