Lakes showers merchants with e-Learning module

Showering specialist Lakes Showering Spaces has launched an e-Learning module exclusively for merchants called ‘The Showering Experience’ –  dedicated to boosting product knowledge and helping merchant teams make the most of selling opportunities in their business.

Available through the Cortexa Merchant Network, including the BMF Campus, the 20 minute online module is split across three sections, explaining the different types and styles of showering spaces, the range of trays and accessories, and how to create an inspiring showroom experience.

The module also includes a showroom checklist, insights into market trends, and practical hints and tips on making it easy for merchant customers to decide on the best solution for their project design. A short knowledge check at the end supports the learning, with an 80% pass rate required in order to complete the assessment and be awarded a certificate of achievement.

Lakes sales & marketing director Mike Tattam says: “We’re extremely pleased to be the first in our sector to work with the BMF and Cortexa to introduce this e-Learning module, dedicated to showering spaces. It’s another important development in our plans to help merchants engage with their customers.

“For many years, enclosures have been overlooked,” he says. “That’s because enclosure brands have left it to others to promote shiny taps and showerheads inside the showering space. So since 2018, we’ve been on an exciting journey to demonstrate the important role of enclosures, functionally and emotionally, and change perceptions and priorities. Whether you’ve been in the industry a long time or have just joined, this module will help improve knowledge, open minds, and in turn help stockists sell better and sell more.”

‘The Showering Experience’ has been rolled out across Cortexa’s merchant network of regional and national merchants. Stockists subscribing to the BMF Campus can access the module at www.bmfcampus.co.uk.
