Minster adds to fire protection strength

Minster has appointed Carrie Blackshaw as Fire Protection Sales Director, to focus on driving Minster’s fire protection product proposition, heightening its solutions offering and bringing her knowledge and expertise to develop the capabilities of the entire Minster team. Blackshaw has spent the last 15 years at Rockwool in a variety of roles which saw her become Rockwool UK Fire Protection Manager.  Her expertise is vast and extends from product development and fire testing though to navigating the implications of building regulations.  She is passionate about the development of people in her team and has been actively involved in the design and delivery of fire protection education and training.

Discussing the appointment, Reece Bailes, sales director, Minster said, “In every area of our business we are dedicated to delivering value-led solutions. This goes far beyond the realms of simply supplying and distributing product and is focussed on complete collaboration with our customers, working as a partner to understand the challenges of each and every unique project to deliver high performing, innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solutions that stand up to requirements.”

Blackshaw says: “Coming from a manufacturing background into Minster I’ve had the opportunity to really see the business from a unique perspective.  There’s no question, I am joining the business at a really exciting time and I am really delighted that I am able to work with new colleagues to build on Minster’s reputation as a solutions business.  Our ambition is to offer the best range of products in the market, backed by a first-class service proposition, on-site support and real fire stopping expertise.”
