Leyland SDM launches its Big School Makeover campaign

Leyland SDM has launched its Big School Makeover campaign to give schools in the capital the chance to win a share of £10,000 worth of paint and DIY products.

A public vote will then open to decide the winners, with one school scooping £5,000 worth of product and two runners-up bagging £2,500 each.

Martin Hastings, CEO of Leyland SDM, said: “We were expecting strong interest in our Big School Makeover campaign but we’ve been blown away by the number of entries.

“It’s a difficult time for schools across London with funding hard to come by. We launched this scheme to support three worthy schools with prizes that will make a genuine difference for pupils and staff.

“It’s going to be a very tough job for our judges to whittle the entries down to 10, but we look forward to announcing our finalists and moving onto the exciting public vote.”

Big School Makeover is open to both primary and secondary schools across London, where Leyland SDM has 33 stores in prominent locations.

The winning schools will be able to use their prize money to select any products from Leyland SDM’s extensive range, including paint from leading brands, decorating essentials, tools, timber and plumbing parts.
