Independent family-owned builders merchant Lawsons Group has completed the purchase of an additional freehold site adjacent to its existing builders’ merchant branch in Salfords.
With the acquisition of the Salfords site, the third property purchase in the last nine months, Lawsons Group operates thirty‑five branches under seven brands, employs more than 700 people, and includes a dedicated steel fabrication plant.
Group finance director, Chris Harrison, comments; “Lawsons has been part of the Salfords community since 2006 and securing this additional site is an important milestone for us. It reflects our long‑standing commitment to both our colleagues and to the customers.
