KNIPEX releases “Raptor” into market

KNIPEX Raptor Multi Slip Joint Spanner

KNIPEX has released The KNIPEX “Raptor”, a Multiple Slip Joint Spanner (87 41 250) designed for working with a mix of metric and imperial nuts and screws with both hexagonal and rounded heads.

Covering widths across flats from 10 mm to 32 mm (3/8″ to 1¼”), the fine adjustment feature has 15 locking positions so the jaws can be set to each component, helping reduce wear on both the tool and the fitting.

The Raptor uses a spring-loaded hinge bolt and push-button system so that once locked onto the workpiece, this spanner should not slip or require readjusting. The design also includes a pinch guard to prevent skin getting caught during adjustment.

Manufactured from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, the handles are finished with non-slip plastic grips for a secure hold even with wet or greasy hands, ideal for typical working conditions in domestic and commercial plumbing.

The Raptor Multiple Slip Joint Spanner is intended to be able to replace a full wrench set, taking up less space in the tool bag on smaller jobs.
