Builders merchant Jewson has supplied a range of building materials to Seddon Property Services to support a community challenge held as part of its Apprentice Selection Week.

The challenge involved 30 people creating a visitor car park for Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent. The community project was part of the on-going restoration of the historic pottery site led by The Prince’s Regeneration Trust.
The Middleport Pottery project saw the transformation of a section of wasteland measuring 20m x 20m into a car park, which will be used by visitors when the new centre opens to the public in 2014.
To create the car park Jewson supplied a range of building materials, including railway sleepers for the border, gravel to cover the main parking area and decorative gravel used around the edges of the car park.
