Jewson announces landscaping competition winners

Builders’ merchant Jewson has announced the winners of its 2026 landscaping competition.

The competition, launched via social media earlier this spring, invited landscaping teams and homeowners to share images of their recent garden transformations. The list of entries was whittled down to a top four, which went to a public vote on social media.

The winner of the competition was Lou Whiteley, whose garden has been updated into a modern space patio outdoor dining, a turfed space, tiered planters, and a pergola. Lou will receive a £500 garden furniture voucher and £200 of Jewson credit.

The three runners-up were Jamie Johnstone of JJ Landscapes Designs, Christian Male,  and Eddie Mendoza. The runners-up will each receive a £200 shopping voucher for barbecue equipment, and £200 of Jewson credit.

Tessa Viller, marketing director for STARK Building Materials UK Ltd, the parent company of Jewson, said: “Landscaping is about much more than creating attractive outdoor spaces. It requires skill, planning, technical expertise and a real understanding of how people want to use their gardens.

“This year’s entries demonstrated all of that in abundance, with a fantastic mix of professional and DIY projects that showcased the talent, creativity and passion that exists across the landscaping community.”
