Inquest opens into death of TP customer

An inquest has opened into the death of a man at a branch of builders merchant Travis Perkins.

Customer Mark Pointer slipped and fell under the wheels of a lorry as he was attaching timber to the roof of his Land Rover.

The accident happened as he was standing on the nearside rear wheel of the car, the 44-year-old slipped and fell under the wheel of a lorry travelling through the yard.

The inquest, at Milton Keynes Crown Court, was adjourned to April 19 2013.
