Independent builders’ merchant, Huws Gray has given away a Grono pod worth £15,000 to one of their customers and football legend and competition ambassador John Barnes presented the prize to the winner.
The competition has been open to all customers purchasing from any Huws Gray or Buildbase store throughout the UK or from the Huws Gray or Buildbase website between September 1 and October 31, by using their receipt number to play ‘spot the ball’ for their chance to win an entry into the prize draw.
As well as supplying and fitting the 4ft x 3ft Grono pod, Huws Gray has also kitted out the “mancave” with a forty-inch smart TV, sofa, Bluetooth soundbar, beer fridge and 150 bottles of Wrexham lager to enjoy with friends.
The winner, Jonny Wildman, a customer of the Bentham Huws Gray branch, said: “A big thank you to all the team at Bentham Huws Gray, who have been fantastic with all our requirements over the years and recently, as we work on a self-build project. We find their attitude and industry knowledge extremely helpful. Winning the prize came as a huge shock to myself and my partner and we look forward to using it over the winter and are sure it will make a great summer space in the garden.”
Huws Gray marketing manager Chris Roberts, said: “A big thank you to the main sponsor Grono and all the other businesses who sponsored this competition along with campaign ambassador John Barnes for making this happen and congratulations to Jonny, for winning this prize.”
