Grafton buys Belgian builders merchant

Builders merchanting group Grafton has completed the acquisition of Brussels builders merchant Gedimat-Ginion S.A.
The single branch general merchanting business recorded revenue of £3.2 million (€4.1 million) in the year to June 2014.

Grafton, which has operations in the UK, Ireland and Belgium, say the purchase expands and complements its coverage of the Brussels market following the acquisition earlier this year of Mpro.
