European Bathrooms wins case against Qualitex Supplies

The Patents County Court proceedings for infringement of design right issued by European Bathroom Limited against Qualitex Supplies Limited in October have now been settled.
European Bathroom Limited (EBL) alleged that Qualitex had infringed its design rights on its Palermo and Formoso baths and basins in EBL’s Clearwater range.

Although Qualitex denies liability it has agreed to cease selling the products alleged to infringe once all existing stock has been sold.

The detailed terms of the settlement are confidential.
