Crown Paints donates 300 litres of paint for SAMH’s first drop-in hub

Crown Paints donates 300 litres of paint for SAMH’s first drop-in hub Crown Paints has donated 300 litres of paint to  Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH), to help bring to life the charity’s new drop-in mental health hub in Glasgow.

The new hub, known as The Nook, is the first of five expected to open across the country.

As part of its donation, Crown Paints has also provided full paint specification support, including technical guidance on product formulations and colour selection to ensure durability, sustainability, and a positive sensory impact.

Crown Paints architectural design consultant, Marie Hoise, said: “It’s been an honour to work on such an important project. Colour and design can have a real impact on the way people feel within a space, so it was really important that we worked with the team at SAMH closely to create a colour palette that helps people to feel reassured and welcome. Access to fast mental health support, without the need for referrals or waiting lists, will be a critical source of help to so many people in Scotland.”
