Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
On Saturday 14th November, a team from north-east based builders merchant JT Atkinson will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
The group want to raise money to support their friend Ali from ECC Timber, who is living with motor neurone disease (MND).
The company says: “Ali is much more than a supplier to JT Atkinson. He is a friend to many across our business and the wider industry, and we want to show our support for him and his family during what is an incredibly difficult time.
“Our aim is to raise as much as possible, and every donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated.”
The challenge will see the team tackle around 24 miles and 1,600 metres of ascent across the Yorkshire Dales.
