Manthorpe has announced the launch of a new loft door to replace its best-selling GL-250-03.
The new GL 250 features 12 multiple catch points around the perimeter of the frame to minimise air leakage and draughts, no visible hinge details and no possible air leakage around the hinge. The fact that the hinge detail is set back from the opening creates a larger area to gain access to the loft and the door can be quickly and simply removed from the frame providing easier access to the loft space.
The frame screws up, directly into the ceiling; this makes installation easier. This also provides optimum pressure on the frame to ceiling seal. The iInsulation fitting to the edge of the door minimises cold bridging
