The Construction Inclusion Coalition (CIC) has a new member: Wilson Brook Consulting has joined to emphasise its commitment to improving equality, diversity and inclusion across the construction and built environment sector.

The Construction Inclusion Coalition brings together organisations from across the supply chain to accelerate progress on equity, diversity and inclusion. Its current focus includes gender inclusion and the Built on Better Pledge, a shared commitment to inspire, listen, educate, measure and report progress across the sector. This work is critical in an industry that employs over 2.9 million people and contributes around 9% of UK GDP, yet remains significantly underrepresented, with only 15% women and 6% people from ethnic minority backgrounds in the workforce.
Wilson Brook Consulting will continue its involvement at the CIC’s 2026 Conference on 13 October in Birmingham.
Neil Holloway, managing director of Wilson Brook Consulting, said: “It was inspiring to be surrounded (at the CIC Conference 2025) by people who share the same commitment to making the industry fairer, stronger and more representative. The CIC conference was exceptionally well run and left us energised and motivated to do more. Joining the Coalition is a natural next step for us, and we’re proud to support work that helps make construction a more inclusive and attractive industry for future generations.
“I am passionate about improving equality, diversity and inclusion within the construction industry. Male allyship and engaging men are so important in helping to deliver the meaningful change we all want and that the industry needs.
“Bringing equal opportunity to women and those from underrepresented backgrounds is the most significant opportunity in the world today. Imagine what we could achieve by realising all that potential in business (not forgetting education and sport). I want my daughters, my wife and all women, young and old, to have every opportunity to succeed and no longer be held back by bias and discrimination.”
