Roof windows manufacturer Velux has agreed a partnership with TrustMark, the Government-endorsed quality mark for tradesmen, which will help consumers to find trusted and expert installers when looking to carry out installations on their properties.

The partnership forms part of a new venture, the Velux Certified Installer Partnership, and will enable Certified Installers to apply for TrustMark status so that they can be found by homeowners using the TrustMark post code search facility.
All Velux Certified Installers who join TrustMark will now carry the TrustMark badge to give additional protection and reassurance to their customers. Research among Velux’s existing registered installers revealed that customers are looking for installers with accreditation from Government endorsed schemes.
Richard McArthur, marketing manager for Velux, said: “TrustMark is the only Government-endorsed quality scheme for tradesmen, and by having this stamp of approval, it will give customers the confidence to engage an installerthey know they can trust.
“Partnering up with TrustMark is a huge endorsement for the way we performance manage installations and it is a mark that our Certified installers can show the customer, proving that they have been properly assessed and inspected and will work to Government-endorsed standards.”
