Builders merchant group Travis Perkins has appointed a specialist logistics provider to handle deliveries for its heating spares brand City Heating Spares.
Logistics specialist DX will look after emergency and one-off deliveries of boiler parts within the City Heating Spares internal and customer network.
The overnight service enables customers to place evening orders for next day delivery, either direct to branch or into a local Parcelxchange, prior to 8am.
Under the contract, DX is supplying all 36 City Heating Spares branches.
