Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Builders and plumbers merchant chain, Travis Perkins plc, has acquired a majority stake in The Underfloor Heating Store.
The online retailer of electric and water underfloor heating systems was set up in 2008 by brothers Michael and Steven Lewis and has experienced rapid growth since inception, being named in the 2013 Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 for Britain’s fastest-growing private companies.
The Company will become part of Travis Perkins’ Sustainable Building Solutions business (SBS).
Brothers Michael and Steven will remain with the Company following the transaction, which took place on the 18th August 2015.
