The BMF announce shortlist for their Supplier Engagement Award

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has announced the finalists for its 2019 Supplier Engagement Award. Eight companies, Crystal, Encon Insulation, Ibstock, JCB, Kerridge Commercial Systems, Knauf, Marsh Industries and Velux have been shortlisted for the Award from over 300 BMF supplier and service members.

The BMF say that the eight companies have actively sought to gain the greatest value from their membership during the last 12 months, having successfully integrated membership of the BMF within their sales and marketing strategies and supported the BMF through attendance at meetings and events, and through various forms of event sponsorship.

This is the fourth year that the Award has been made, and three companies – Ibstock, Knauf and Velux – have been nominated for the first time.

BMF Chief Executive John Newcomb said: “BMF membership covers the whole building materials supply chain and suppliers and service providers play a vital role in our community. This award recognises the outstanding contribution made by our more active supplier and service members, through their participation in training, events and sponsorship. It is one way that we can both thank and congratulate all of this year’s finalists for their support.”

The winner of the Supplier Engagement Award, will be announced at the BMF Members’ Awards Dinner, which takes place after the BMF Members’ Annual Conference on 19 September at St George’s Park, Burton on Trent, the home of England’s national football teams.
