Hastings independent builders merchants Stamco have joined the H&B merchant group.

With a turnover in excess of £30 million, Stamco have grown rapidly and now trade out of five branches.

Managing director John Cornelius said: “We are tremendously excited to be joining the H&B Group.  We see the buying group landscape changing and when we heard about the exciting plans that H&B are implementing our minds were made up that we wanted to be part of the group.”

Nick Lander, managing director of H&B, added: “Stamco is our third major addition to the group so far this year.  They combine state-of-the art branches with superb customer focus, resulting in fantastic growth.  They are a credit to the builders’ merchant industry and we are absolutely delighted to have them with us.”
