Swedish sawmill company SCA Timber is investing in its Tunadal sawmill to increase spruce wood production.
The SEK 250m (£21,800) investment will primarily be made in a new log sorting line to add an extra 140,000 cubic metres’ capacity, but also includes increased drying capacity and minor investments in green
sorting and the three sawlines.
It will mean the mill moves from a two-shift operation to three-shift.
