Open to kids of all ages during school hours, holidays, weekends and evenings, Wild Blossom Forest School focuses on education, connecting with nature, promoting wellbeing and creating a safe space within their private wild wood in Caerphilly, where a deeper connection to the natural world can blossom. As well as predominantly working with home educating families, they also work with charities like Single Parents Wellbeing, Brownies groups, colleges and schools.

Before the school opened in the beginning of March this year, they contacted Robert Price for a donation of timber. The builders’ merchant was thrilled to support them, especially when they heard what was going to be made from the materials. The school have created fantastic educational, communal projects, including a compost toilet, a tree house, a camp area equipped with benches and tables, a mud kitchen, and many other little projects – perfect for stimulating child led play and their imaginations.

“It’s great to hear the donation is making a difference. We are delighted to have contributed to this wonderful initiative,” said Janet Jefferies, branch manager from Robert Price. “We look forward to seeing the woodland theatre once it’s been completed!”
