Independent timber and builders’ merchants Ridgeons Group has promoted Dave Jordan, to group Sustainability Manager.
The new role, a first for Ridgeons, will see Jordon responsible for all technical support, marketing training and the selling of all sustainable products across the company. His main goal will be to increase staff awareness of the changing marketplace through specialist training.
Nick Sims, commercial director at Ridgeons, said: “The market place is constantly changing and we need to be at the forefront and leading the way by supporting both our staff and customers. This new role for Dave is also in recognition of his consistent hard work and commitment in driving knowledge and awareness of the sustainable market into Ridgeons.”
Jordan, who has worked for Ridgeons for 14 years, was previously business development manager for heating and plumbing.
