The company, which has nine branches in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire has announced that the new branch will take around 7,000sq ft which is over double the size of the existing branch. A further three staff have been employed in time for the opening, which is planned for February 1 2012.

The rest of the site will become a builders merchants selling building materials and timber, which will open on April 1 2012 and will be staffed separately with managers for each, all under the company’s trading banner.

David Hebdon, Nicholls’ managing director says: “This is the start of the promised expansion of the business with Rugby being the most obvious place to expand where the company already has a good name in the area”.
