Leading Southern independent merchant Heating Plumbing Supplies Limited (HPS) have announced a bumper set of results for their year to December 31 2007, including record sales and profits.
Turnover for the period was more than £28m compared with £25.7m in 2006, while profits increased to £2.1m from £1.9m.
Managing director Ron Walker said of the results: “We are delighted to announce these record results which show HPS continuing to expand and develop its market share.
“We are very confident with our two recently opened branches at Portsmouth and Epsom and further openings planned, that we can continue to successfully grow and further develop our business in 2008 despite the tighter market conditions”.
