PTS has launched ‘Spares Express’ a new delivery service to get spare parts to their customers as quickly as possible.

PTS launch spares delivery service

The initiative is in response to customer demand for a more direct way of sourcing spares. The express service allows orders to be processed immediately, with parts delivered to site on a daily basis. Dedicated spares vans are now in operation and offer a unique ‘full-time’ service.

PTS spares development director Martyn Farrelly called the move “An excellent example of how listening to our customers can bring about change for the better.”

Currently the vans are operating in the Midlands and the south east of but, says Mr Farrelly, with encouraging feedback coming in, “we expect to be able to extend the operation later in 2008.”

PTS has over 50 dedicated spares branches, including its outlet in Northern Ireland which was opened in 2007.
