PTS names two new charity partners

Plumbers merchant chain PTS has chosen Cruse Bereavement Care and Mind, the mental health charity, as its official charity partners for the next two years.

PTS names two new charity partners

The move to support the charities equally will see its extensive branch network raise awareness and much-needed funds for both causes, which will include Mind’s partners SAMH and NIAMH in Scotland and Northern Ireland respectively.

In the past, PTS employees have climbed Ben Nevis, biked across Britain, and completed the London Marathon for its previous charity partner Cancer Research UK. The partnership was so successful that around £40,000 was raised.

PTS managing director Ian Church – whose charity efforts included the London Marathon – said: “Employees across PTS are always incredibly passionate about our charity partners and the response when choosing Cruse Bereavement and Mind was overwhelming. Both of these charities are incredibly worthy causes and we’re really looking forward to doing all we can to support them.”
