Norgrove wins best building supplies West Midlands accolade

Independent builders merchant Norgrove Building Supplies has been named the ‘Best Building Materials Supplier’ in the West Midlands in the 2020 Midlands Enterprise Awards.

Norgrove director, Jack Norgrove, said: “It’s great to be presented this award, as there’s a lot of builders merchants in the West Midlands, but since we launched Norgrove Building Supplies, our goal has always been to go that extra step for the customer and provide quality products at competitive prices, with a fast, reliable and friendly delivery service.

“It’s been an unusual year but being identified as a key industry we knew we had a responsibility to remain open throughout the pandemic to be able to supply key workers with their building supplies. The hard work and commitment of our staff to help provide quality customer service while providing a safe environment to work in has been second to none. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work, as well as the judging panel at the Midlands Enterprise Awards for their recognition.

“It’s great to be recognised, but we’re not stopping there, we are constantly evolving in order to provide the best customer service we can. We have recently launched our new e-Commerce website to be able to offer our customers more products with various delivery options. We’re really pleased with our new site as it also offers our customers a number of free services, including a brick finder assistance tool, an estimating service, materials calculator and a materials quote service among other tools that can really make building your next project even easier.

“As we’ve grown, we’ve also increased our number of employees by hiring various roles to enable us to offer an ‘ all hands-on-deck’ approach in assisting our customers.”

The Midlands Enterprise Awards are judged by an in-house research team, which carefully analyses the information that is available both online and in the public domain as well as any materials supplied by nominees.
