Builders merchant Kent Blaxill will open a new decorating supplies store in Lincoln later this month. Commercial director James Park said, “We’ve been searching for some time and we were pleased to find this superb 3,000 sq ft location at Bishops Trade Park, where we will create four new jobs.’
He continued, “The site offers great parking and easy access for trade and retail clients. We are bringing new paint brands to the area, including the No. 1 Scandinavian brand, Tikkurila, who offer a variety of superior interior and exterior paint products, as well as trusted brands such as Dulux, Little Greene and Farrow & Ball.”
Kent Blaxill is a long-established family firm in the East of England, with over 180 years’ trading in the building and decorating merchant sector. Managing director, Simon Blaxill, said, “Opening a store in Lincoln has been on our agenda for a number of years, so we are pleased to finally open our doors. Our ethos is based on quality products, fair pricing and customer service and we know this will be attractive to quality tradesmen, interior decorators and DIY enthusiasts across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. We’ve invested over £175,000 in this new store, creating new jobs and bringing a new offering to Lincoln. We look forward to forming new relationships over the coming months as ultimately, that is what successful business is about.”
Park continued, “Our Lincoln store is designed to enable customers to select colour in relaxed surroundings. The KB team will be pleased to offer advice on our complete range of products and provide solutions to customer needs. After Lincoln, we open a further new store in Newark in the autumn as we continue to expand across the Eastern region, so it’s a busy year across the region for Kent Blaxill.”
