New Grant & Stone plumbers’ merchant for Abingdon

IBMG’s plumbing and heating division announced the opening of its latest Grant & Stone plumbers’ merchant and bathroom showroom located on Nuffield Way, Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

The 10,000 ft site includes a plumbing and heating trade counter offering an extensive range of plumbing and heating supplies supported by specialist advice, and a showroom displaying a range of bathroom fitting and bathroom products. IBMG’s plumbing and heating division will be opening branches in Bedford and Bletchley in early 2022, with further branches planned throughout the year.

Matt Bland, managing director of IBMG’s plumbing and heating division, said: “Grant & Stone have a strong presence in and around Oxford and across the Thames Valley. However, we noted that Abingdon and its surrounding area was seriously underserved and that flagged an opportunity for us. We were fortunate to be able to appoint a great local manager in Chris Wiskin and together, we built the branch based on his knowledge of the local community’s requirements. Although the Group has grown, we remain fiercely independent in our approach, outlook and dealings with customers – it is the reason for our success.”
