New format from PTS

Heating and plumbing merchant PTS, opened their first commercial contract branch dedicated solely to the supply of plastics, sanitaryware and renewable energy products on October 25.

New format from PTS

The branch, located in Coatbridge, Glasgow, allows the company to provide sanitaryware products that are too bulky or fragile to be commonly stocked in great volume. The branch will also offer a direct pick-up facility or next day delivery.

PTS managing director Alan Ball said: “We are excited to be able to offer our customers a unique solution to the often slow lead time of sourcing large sanitaryware items. The warehouse facility at this branch means that PTS has increased availability of key products, which are difficult to store in normal trade counters due to their size. The dedicated nature of these branches means that we can offer a unique method of contract management and provide professional merchant support.”

A second commercial contract branch has just opened in Stratford, London, and will be followed by further locations across the UK in 2008.
