Mongan to take up Bristan CEO post

Bristan Group has announced the appointment of Martin Mongan, as CEO.

Mongan, who was formerly managing director of  Hansgrohe MD, will take up his post in February 2021.

He succeeds former CEO, Darius Padler, who will leave the business at the end of 2020.  Padler says: “Martin is a well-known and well-liked industry character with a history of delivering exceptional sales growth in the businesses he has led.  This is an exciting appointment for the Group.”

Mongan has over 25 years of industry experience, having held senior roles at both Kohler Mira and Jacuzzi, before joining Hansgrohe in 2011.   He says: “Bristan Group is a strong and solid business that has grown market share in 2020, creating a brilliant platform for future success.  I’m looking forward to working with the team and taking the business forward onto the next stage of its journey; steering it through the challenges presented by Covid, Brexit, and changing customer behaviour, to ensure that the Group continues to deliver exceptional products and services for its customers, and profitable growth for its shareholders.”

Ken Ellis, the Group’s Chief Financial Officer will act as Interim CEO of the Bristan Group until Martin takes up his new position.

Bristan Group is owned by global homewares supplier, Masco, and is the parent company of the Bristan, Heritage and Cascade brands.
