MKM Building Supplies (MKM) has announced it is opening its 135th branch in Wolverhampton on July 7 2025.
MKM Wolverhampton, located on Neachells Lane, will create 19 new jobs and will offer a range of building materials, and will include plumbing and heating, kitchens and bathrooms, and landscaping segments, whilst also offering free next-day delivery.
MKM Wolverhampton also introduces the company’s first-ever ‘Fast Lane’ drive-thru warehouse. With two vehicle entrances, the Fast Lane is designed to reduce waiting times and cut out unnecessary manual handling. MKM team members will load vehicles directly, improving safety on site, reducing congestion.
Led by branch directors David Wint, Dave Horton, and Dan Mansell, the merchant stated it is committed to supporting the local community through its support with Ward 9 at Birmingham Children’s Hospital set as its chosen charity, promising further local sponsorships and community partnerships will follow.
Mansell explained: “We’ve worked in this trade a long time—helping customers, loading wagons, sorting stock—and we know what works. MKM gives us the freedom to bring that proper, personal service back. We’re about no faff—just decent stock, knowledgeable people, and quick turnarounds.”
