Independent builders merchant MKM Building Supplies has launched its new fully transactional website.
The Hull-based merchant has 42 branches across England and Scotland, and the updated website now enables new and existing customers to purchase materials at anytime throughout the day, with over 10,000 products to choose from.
Speaking to BMJ earlier in the year, executive chairman and co-founder of MKM, David Kilburn said: “It’s a significant investment from our point of view.
“Its initial objective is to offer a higher level of customer service to our existing customers. We’ll then try to go out and attract what we might call the retailer or the non-trade account customer.”
