MKM Building Supplies, the UK’s largest independent builder’s merchant has a celebratory start to 2020, with the opening of its 70th branch in Grantham this week.
Fantastic news for local building trade as MKM Grantham opens the doors to a brand new, state-of-the-art branch bringing all building needs under one roof and creating 17 jobs.
The new branch is situated in a prime location on Trent Road, Grantham. The 1.88acre site is designed to be a one-stop shop for both local building trade and retail customers, with an experienced team on-hand to support customer projects. 
MKM Grantham will showcase a wide range of building essentials including; timber, joinery, roofing, facing bricks and blocks, plasterboard, insulation, electrical and specialist plumbing and heating products including under-floor heating.
The branch also offers a range of services including brick matching, take off service and an extensive outdoor landscaping display. The branch will also feature stunning kitchen and bathroom showrooms with free 3D design and consultation services.
Also available to enhance customer experience at Grantham is a large fleet of delivery vehicles with free local deliveries, including two 26 tonne cranes for heavy goods lifting.
The opening of the milestone 70th branch is part of MKM’s ambitious expansion plans and kicks off the company’s 25th anniversary year.
MKM Grantham is headed up by Branch Director, James Truman. James has a wealth of experience having started in the building industry aged 18 and managed his first branch aged 22. To add to his raft of industry expertise, James completed a Post Graduate diploma in multi-site management and strategy and has managed several Midland’s builder’s merchants prior to launching MKM Grantham.
