The Norwich branch of independent builders merchant MKM Building Supplies has secured a deal to become the main sponsor of family -friendly Volkswagen, arts and music festival VW Whitenoise.

Around 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the Festival from 31 July-2 August 2015, which takes place at Euston Park, near Thetford.
Norfolk couple and organisers, Lucy and Neil Haughey, spend the year planning the event which includes a celebration of arts, theatrics, live music and motors.
MKM Building Supplies has supported the event in previous years by donating materials and camping at the festival with their families.
Gavin Lloyd-Thompson, co-director of the MKM Building Supplies branch in Norwich, said: “We were keen to get more involved and are really pleased to have secured the main sponsorship for 2015. We’re planning some corporate hospitality so our customers get to benefit from the deal. Whitenoise is a great place to relax with your family and we’re looking forward to offering something a bit different for our clients to enjoy.”
The Norwich branch will be selling the weekend Festival tickets from their Vulcan Road North base from February 2015 helping local people avoid online booking and postal fees. Only a nominal £1 per customer will be charged and then donated to the Whitenoise chosen charity ‘fresh Start- new beginnings’ who the Festival raised £500 for in 2014.
Neil Haughey, VW Whitenoise event organiser, said: “The team at MKM Building Supplies are really switched on and have got some great ideas on promoting their involvement. It takes a lot of hard work and materials to transform our Festival site so they are the ideal partner.”
