To celebrate the manufacture of its 1,000,000th Flight shower tray at the Hull factory, Mira Showers has launched a golden ticket promotion, with real gold bars – totalling thousands of pounds in value – to be won as prizes!
Five golden tickets have been hidden in randomly selected trays and sent out into the marketplace. One lucky finder of one of these tickets will win a 1oz solid gold bar worth, depending on market prices on the day, possibly £1000. Four runners up will also receive a solid gold bar – this time one weighing 5 grammes.
The promotion is also being extended to readers of selected contractor and installer magazines. First, the company is selecting 10 trays per magazine from the warehouse, any one of which could be hiding a winning ticket. Mira will then open them at the end of June on behalf of five readers chosen from entries to magazine competitions. Second, an extra 5g bar has been put aside for each magazine – and, again, to be won by a lucky reader.
Mira has reached the landmark 1,000,000 trays thanks to opening of a new £6m state-of-art factory in 2012 which made the production process so much more streamlined and efficient that Mira was able to reduce the price of the Flight tray by 50%.
