The company hope the new process will give customers greater confidence in the delivery of their chosen product.

Products are ordered by an approved distributor to be stored at the manufacturer’s premises, pending delivery in accordance with a pre-agreed delivery date.

Michelmersh will also agree a fixed price with its clients, whereby no variation to that price will be made for the products ordered, provided the delivery schedule is maintained.

Frank Hanna, Group commercial director, said: “The Select Order Process is just one of the initiatives we have brought in to improve and innovate the way in which we distribute our brick products.

“Our aim is to apply an assured, accurate and more structured approach to the industry’s dated dispatch processes. Our bespoke order service is how we will try to lead the industry.”
