Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
East Anglian independent builders merchant Ridgeons presented Meyer Timber with its 2014 Supplier of the Year Award yesterday (March 11).
The presentation was made at the end of Ridgeons’ annual Meet The Merchant event, held at its Pamisford Sustainability Training Centre. The Meet the Merchant event involves brief meetings between suppliers and Ridgeons’ branch managers and sales reps.
The meetings, managing director Angela Rushforth says, “allow suppliers to get together with the people in branch and on the road who are the closest to the customers. It allows us to ask what we can be doing better to support the customers, the suppliers and the branches.”
