BMF takes Rudridge into membership

Builders merchants organisation the Builders Merchants Federation welcomes Rudridge as its latest member.
Rudridge, who will join on the 1st April, is the largest company in the independent buying group H&B Group with a projected turnover for 2014 of £40m.

Formed 13 years ago by Robert Rudd and Alan Betteridge, it now has four branches and employs some 60 staff.

Darren Price, business development manager for Rudridge, said: “Rudridge is delighted to become part of the BMF at a time when membership is growing at such a pace.”

John Newcomb, BMF managing director, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Rudridge into BMF membership. They are an extremely successful civils and drainage merchant business and an excellent example of how quickly a business can grow within this industry with the right management and desire to succeed.”
