London timber merchant awarded double achievement

Double certification to ISO14001 and ISO9001 was awarded to timber merchant T Brewer & Co at their head office in Clapham on Wednesday 14 May.

The certification was presented by BM TRADA Certification UK’s chief operating officer Vic Bowen.

T Brewer & Co supply many of London’s most high-profile construction and renovation projects. The dual certification raises still further the company’s ability to engage with major contractors.

Company director Nick Brewer said: “Major contractors are constantly developing their benchmarks for suppliers, setting the bar ever higher. We recently hosted a visit by members of the UK Contractors Group working on environmental audit systems – companies like LendLease, Wilmott Dixon, Sir Robert McAlpine and regeneration specialist Keepmoat. London is also the UK’s development capital, for infrastructure and housing, making it even more essential for suppliers to keep their compliance at the highest possible level to remain competitive.”
