LBS hands over Survival of the Fittest cheque

Independent builders merchant LBS Builders Merchants has handed over the sponsorship money it raised through its participation of the ‘Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest’ race in Cardiff in September.

LBS hands over Survival of the Fittest cheque

Survival of the Fittest was a gruelling 10km urban assault course full of tough obstacles, such as a ‘giant slippery wall’, an ‘army assault course’, and a ‘mud run’.

76 staff from across all branches and divisions of LBS – including managing director Mark Davies – ran in what was a sheer test of endurance, guts and speed.

On the 2nd February LBS presented each of the five charities supported with a cheque for £2438.08, Cancer Research UK, Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales, Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre Swansea, British Heart Foundation Cymru & Macmillan Cancer Support.
