Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete raised money for the Children in Need charity by getting staff to adopt a country & western theme.

Boots, Stetsons and check shirts were out in force at the headquarters in Syston, Leicester as staff were encouraged to dress up for the day with a country and western theme.
Everyone paid at least £1 and a raffle, bingo and bring and buy sales also brought money rolling in.
Prizes of a free Christmas dinner in the staff café were given out for those with the best costumes.
The original target was £500, but the day eventually brought in £1,000.
