Manufacturer Insulation Knauf Insulation will now be offering merchants mixed load deliveries of its rock and glass mineral wool insulation at no extra surcharge, until the end of the year.
The manufacturer has added its Earthwool® DriTherm Cavity Slabs to the offer, which also includes its Earthwool Flexible Slab and Earthwool Building Slab rock products, as well as the Earthwool Loft Roll, Earthwool FrameTherm Roll and Earthwool Acoustic Roll glass mineral wools. Merchants can now order mixed loads made up of any combination of these products.
The loads are available in three sizes: a quarter load consisting of five pallets, a half load made up of 10 pallets or a full load of 20 pallets. Delivered on one vehicle, the mixed load order facility will significantly reduce the amount of deliveries required where multiple insulation types are necessary and drastically cut the amount of carbon emissions associated with transport.
Phil Rigby, Product Manager – Rock Mineral Wool, at Knauf Insulation says: “This new mixed load delivery aims to take away any of the hassle and extra cost for our merchant customers, therefore helping to maintain the flow of product through their branches. With more choice for the customers, branches will be able to offer products for whole house solutions. Due to the very positive response from our merchant customers, the offer is now open until the end of 2013, at no extra charge and delivered within four working days”.
