It was with great sadness that BMJ learned of the death of Joe Inzani, md of independent builders merchant Lawsons in a car accident last month.
He was involved in a serious accident on the motorway on Christmas Eve and was airlifted to hospital, but died of his injuries in the early hours of Christmas Day.
He had been due to retire as managing director of Lawsons in February. Our deepest condolences go to his wife, Bernadette, his family, friends and colleagues at Lawsons.
